Why We Offer to Help
When our Christian community decided to incorporate our businesses and community in 2001, we sought help from two lawyers and two accountants. Every bit of advice we got was flawed . . . at best. After seven years of facing the tax ramifications of the bad advice we were given, we finally restructured our businesses in a more advantageous form. We want to help you avoid the same difficulties we faced.
What We Offer
NOTICE: FREE online advice for 501(d) and 501(c)3 tax-exempt status will be online in a few days!
We will teach you . . .
- how to choose the best structure for your business
- how to get advice that you won't regret and when and how you to get it for free
- the various ways to keep good books
- when you need a tax professional and how to pick a good one
- what you should and shouldn't try to get away with
We will also perform the following tasks for you:
- Register your Corporation or LLC with the state, if this is a good idea (you pay the fees)
- Obtain your Employer Identification Number from the IRS (Form SS-4, no fees)
- File for Subchapter S with the IRS (if needed)
Please note that Subchapter S Corporations are just Corporations (or LLC's that have elected to be taxed like a Corporation) that have petitioned the IRS for Subchapter S status. Should we determine together with you that Subchapter S is the route to go, you would still register with the state as either a Corporation or LLC.
